2021 Reunion
Due to the unforeseen circumstances in which we found ourselves in 2020 the 366th Fighter Association Officers, after reviewing COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines, deemed it prudent to to forgo the 2020 Reunion and reschedule it for 2021. Among the things they considered were:
1. Health and the virus - as we get older many of us have health issues. The Officers had to determine if the situation was such that the health risk was safe/manageable.
2. Travel - again health risk. Many airline schedules, even between cities where flights were available, remained in flux.
3. It was difficult to determine how many Tucson area entertainment venues would either be closed or greatly restricted.
4. Resort options were a consideration.
a. Reschedule - would the venue allow us to reschedule the dates under the same contract rates, terms, and
conditions or would they have to be renegotiated?
b. Cancel - what would it cost to cancel the reunion?
Ultimately the Officers made the decision to reschedule our Tucson Reunion for October 2021. The Casino Del Sol allowed us to execute a contract addendum to reschedule and committed to honor all contract terms, conditions, and rates detailed in the original 2020 contract. The 2021 reunion will be Hosted by Branch Davis, the venue will remain the same as announced for 2020.
